Historic Medicine Park town center with it's remarkable of cobblestone buildings and quaint shops is just a mile down Big Rock Road.  Take a swim in
Bath Lake or stroll along the lighted walkway that follows the shore of Medicine Creek. In the winter Medicine Creek is stocked with trout. Dine at the Riverside Restaurant or stop in for some refreshments at the Park Tavern. The Winery of the Wichitas offers fine wines made from Oklahoma grown grapes and large deck that overlooks the town and Medicine Creek.

Just a few miles away is the Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge, 96,000 acre with herds of bison and wild longhorn wander freely. There you can hike, fish, go rock climbing or just observe the wildlife. Drive up to the top of Mount Scott, the second highest peak in the Wichita Mountains for a spectacular view.

In near by Lawton you’ll find the Museum of the Great Plains with exhibits of cultural and natural history of the Southern Great Plains, featuring the Tingley Collection of Native American artifacts and the Red River Trading Post.

Fort Sill, built in 1869, is home to museum of military memorabilia. The Old Post buildings house exhibits about buffalo soldiers, Southern Plains tribes and famous Apache Geronimo.
